First Fridays at First (FF@F) is Back! "First Fridays at First" is an intergenerational, outdoor praise and worship event open to all. It is hosted on the front lawn of First Presbyterian Church on the first Friday of every summer month through September. The purpose of these events is to help people deepen their faith and friendships in a warm, relaxing and welcoming environment. People bring blankets or lawn chairs, some bring picnic dinners and drinks, and gather "Wolftrap style" to celebrate the end of the week and enjoy an hour of faith building music, fellowship and fun. Mission Trip - Agua Prieta, Mexico: Plans for the 2008 mission trip are well underway. We will be leading a Vacation Bible School and a health clinic and are planning a dental clinic. About 15 people, across a wide age range, have committed to participating. Spaces are still available but commitments will be needed soon. The group will fly out of Tucson, AZ, on Saturday, July 26, and come back to Tucson on Saturday, August 2. Participants will be responsible for contributing at least $250 for their travel to Tucson; because of generous contributions and vigorous fundraising over the years, the church is able to cover the remainder of the costs. If you are interested in participating, please contact the church office. |
